CLASSICAL CONDITIONING

To associate a stimulus with an unconscious physical or emotional response.





1)  Student A will not wake up every morning at 6 a.m. if the alarm clock does not ring.
2) Student A will wake up at 6 a.m. if the alarm clock rings.
3) Student A will wake up at 6 a.m. every morning even the alarm clock does not ring.


 OPERANT CONDITIONING

A technique to modify behaviour by reinforcing desired behaviors, and ignoring or punishing undesired behaviors.



A product that offers reward.
 Figure above shows positive reinforcement. This sentence will make customer feels like buying the product again. The word FREE is very important to attract customers and to ensure loyalty.


SERIAL POSITION EFFECT

A phenomenon of memory in which items presented at the beginning and end of a list are easily remembered than items in the middle.



The ‘NK’ and the 2003 would be remembered more easily as compared to the ones in the middle.


PICTURE SUPERIORITY EFFECT

Pictures are remembered more than words.

the picture is faster remembered than the dialogue.
